Keldrick was born to Ricky and Patsy Gaines on February 5, 1984 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He attended and graduated from Peabody Magnet High School. He worked as a Licensed Barber and cut hair at the House of Style for many years. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Clyde Carr, Jessie Mae Newton, Eddie Gaines, and Estella Gaines.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Rickey and Pasty Gaines (Parents). Henica Veal Gaines (Wife).  Ebonette Robinson, Kalisa Coleman, Rickey Carr (Siblings), Ashairee Gaines, Aaliyah Gaines, and Keldrick Gaines II (Children).  Termaine Veal, Corey Yancy, Jada Yancy, Elijah Yancy (Stepchildren) “Princess” Iriella May (Granddaughter). A Host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews
